our blanket of white

Fall has been just beautiful!

And now, we are into Winter...

Here are a few pictures 

of our blanket of white.

Buried beneath that blanket of white

and a few inches of soil

are tiny treasures

just waiting to burst forth

this spring.

Oh, how I look forward to relaxing in those

garden chairs

and watching the birds

and hummingbird moths

interact with their world!

Look at that green beneath the snow!

Creation leaves me in awe of its Creator...

each of those plants 

made to withstand the cold

of winter.

My South Dakota rocks...

my heart will always be in my homeland

just like these precious Nebraska

folks love their land...

I have just a few

momentos to remember.

A table for the small beaks

and a bush to hide in when frightened...

birds are fun to watch.
