Growing UP, Part II

Life is just flying by...

literally.

2007--Austin, 3, flying with Uncle Jason

 This sweet boy, once snuggled in my arms,

now builds a whole city of Lego buildings, including

a hospital where the Lego people 

with missing arms or legs

can go.

Most are missing now

to be soon replaced by

adult teeth.

Little boys

growing into men.

 

Young men

who live fully

before your Daddy and me...

who challenge me

to choose my strength from

my faith and not my own ability...

 

who stretch me

to do things that I only vaguely

recall doing...once upon a time...
