the presence of the Son...

what do we see

when we wake up each morning?

when we head out on our morning

routines and things we need to 

get done for the day?

I am captivated

by my Creator's

creation...

His amazing

sunrises

and sunsets...

What is my life a reflection of?

These clouds

show a change

having been met

by the sun

rising...

The more the sun rises

the more they change

in color

and brilliance...

This morning,

on our way to school,

the sky in the east

had no clouds...

there was just a hint of

color

yellow and orange

in the sky...

but behind us,

there were clouds...

and those clouds

were filled with beautiful colors

pinks, purples...

being changed

by the sun

rising...

and I was struck

with the thought...

how is my life changed

not by the sun in the sky

but by the Son of God

who put the sky in its

place...

by its Creator

my Creator...

just how is my life

changed when I

am in His presence...

how can I be in His presence?

time with Him

reading His Word

praying

talking to Him

throughout the day

while I load

the washer or dryer

the dishwasher

fold my blessings' clothes

care for our family's needs

how is my day different?

what brilliant colors

and radiant qualities

are in my life

because I have spent time 

with Him?

"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.

Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.

There is no speech, nor are their words,

whose voice is not heard."

let my life today

be like these pictures

of the sky...

proclaiming Your handiwork...

and declaring the glory of God.
