The latest crafting adventure...
hand-sewing-binding a journal!
My friend Alissa Millsap
is an incredibly creative person!
She is an expert at making these
neat books,
and she's walking a few
of us through how to make one ourselves.
I began with a watercolor blank pad
I had purchased from Hobby Lobby.
We took off the back cardboard piece
from the pad
and cut it in half.
Then I decorated one for me...
one for my oldest son, Joshua...
and another for my youngest son, Austin.
I think I'll add a few more
sporty decorations
to my sons' journal covers
before we meet again.
I'm looking forward to next week
when we'll be sewing all of the pages
together
and binding the books!
Thank you, Alissa,
for sharing this
incredible
talent
with us!

Thank You, Lord,
for gifting each of us
differently
and allowing us
to be a blessing to those
You place in our lives!
