Around Easter, my youngest wrote a story about a character named "Thr" and recently, he asked me if I could make a stuffed Thr!  How fun is that?! 

He drew out his pattern on paper.  I cut it out.  We looked through my stash of material, pinned the pattern onto the material, and cut it out.  He told me exactly how he wanted Thr's eyes, glasses, and mouth.  I sewed them on and sewed Thr together.  Last of all, we stuffed him with rice.

He loves his stuffed Thr, but the thing that makes a project like this so fun to do is to have him say, "I love you, Mommy!  I love that you make me things that I want to make!"  Aaahhh...
