I remember when...I had to go to bed at 9PM.
I remember when...most days were the same as the others.
I remember when...my sisters and I used to bring a radio outside and make up a gymnastics routine on the front lawn (of course, we lived 8 1/2 miles from town and hardly anyone EVER drove by).
I remember when...I used to read and read a book until Mom would call me back to reality..."Come help set the table..."
I remember when...we would play up in the barn in a secret hayloft corner room...at least we thought it was a secret.
I remember when...my sisters and I would sing at the top of our lungs while we were stacking hay.
I remember when...we would sneak a peek in Grandma's deep-freeze to make sure she had ice cream bars before we went in to visit.
I remember when...I first met my husband.
I remember when...I carried our babies around the house, soothing them back to sleep.
I remember when...we opened the envelope that said we were "having a boy."

Thank you, Lord, for our memories...memories that make us smile and giggle...memories that make us run straight to Your arms! You are faithful, to bring to mind how You continue to work in our lives...past, present, and future.
I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
yes, I will remember Your miracles of long ago.
I will meditate on all Your works
and consider all Your mighty deeds.
Psalm 77:11,12
